This acrylic polymer additive enhances waterproofing, durability, and chemical resistance, transforming ordinary cement-based systems into polymer-modified mortars with superior performance. Richlam600 serves as both a mortar waterproofing admixture and a protective waterproofing chemical for concrete, ideal for new construction and especially effective in large-scale waterproofing repair projects for rooftops, exterior walls, water tanks, and basements.

Performance Enhancement for Mortar & Concrete

When added to cement-based mixtures, Richlam600 acrylic emulsion for mortar distributes uniformly across the fine aggregates and forms a tight polymer film network, interlocking with cement and sand particles. This acrylic waterproofing admixture fills capillaries and closes pores within the mortar or concrete matrix, effectively blocking water ingress and improving durability.

Compared to conventional mortars, Richlam600-modified mortars demonstrate:
  1. 35% increase in tensile strength, 50% increase in flexural strength, freeze-thaw resistance > D300

  2.  1–3x higher elongation, lower elastic modulus, and significantly better crack resistance

  3.  >4x improvement in bond strength to concrete substrates and steel plates

  4.  Densification effect: 10× lower water absorption after 2 days, 1.5× higher impermeability, 8× higher chloride resistance

  5.  Excellent aging resistance: passes 2160-hour UV aging test (carbon arc) with no significant performance loss

  6.  Superior chemical resistance: resists 2% sulfuric acid, low-concentration hydrochloric, nitric, hydrofluoric acids, ammonia, acetic acid, and solvents like benzene
