How Richlam200 Builds Self-Healing Concrete Structures

Concrete leakage originates from cracks and capillary pores—primary channels for water and chemical attack. Richlam® self-healing admixtures are rich in active crystalline agents that react with moisture and the alkaline compounds in concrete. Upon activation, these agents generate crystalline structures that fill and seal cracks and defects, turning ordinary concrete into self-sealing, crystalline concrete waterproofing.

Through biomimicry and material science, Richlam® replicates the natural healing process of bone regeneration. The admixture’s dry-state dormancy and water-triggered crystallization allow it to reactivate repeatedly throughout the concrete’s lifespan. With Richlam200, cracks of 0.6–1.0 mm can be fully healed, and porosity can be reduced by up to 20%, significantly enhancing impermeability and structural integrity.
