This self-healing waterproofing admixture is available in both water-based and powder forms. It is formulated with highly active crystalline growth factors, catalysts, and proprietary additives. Once added to concrete, it promotes deep crystallization and self-healing, helping to prevent early-age cracking and autonomously seal new cracks over time. The result is a highly dense concrete matrix with near-zero permeability, significantly enhanced waterproofing performance, and long-term durability—while greatly reducing maintenance costs.

Richlam100 is a water-based integral waterproofing admixture for concrete, designed for high-efficiency dosing and ease of use. Compared to other crystalline waterproofing agents on the market, Richlam100 achieves optimal performance at a low dosage of just 2 kg/m³. Its pumpable water-based formulation allows it to be added directly at batching plants or even manually into transit mixers, significantly reducing workload for general contractors and concrete suppliers.

Richlam®’s biomimetic self-healing concrete technology mimics the way animal bone tissue regenerates after injury. With Richlam100, plastic shrinkage cracking can be reduced by up to 80%, and cracks up to 0.4–0.6 mm can be autonomously healed. Waterproofing performance reaches as high as Grade P20 impermeability.

Richlam® self-healing waterproofing admixtures are rich in crystalline growth agents that activate upon contact with water. Once activated, they react with the alkaline compounds in concrete to form dense crystals that fill cracks and pores—resulting in self-healing concrete.

Inspired by biological healing mechanisms, Richlam® addresses macro problems with micro-scale innovation. Its crystalline waterproofing admixture mimics periosteum regeneration by precipitating crystals at crack sites, sealing fissures and closing pores. The admixture features a unique cycle of dry-state dormancy and water-triggered crystallization, continuously repeating as needed throughout the life of the concrete. Richlam100 can heal cracks up to 0.6 mm and reduce concrete porosity by 20%, creating a tighter, more water-resistant matrix.

Under an electron microscope, this healing process resembles the regeneration of biological tissue. You can observe crystal growth at crack sites, nanometer-scale pore filling, and a visible increase in concrete density.
